Firewall/Network Requirements
This article will discuss the firewall/network requirements for the software on a Boulder AI device to function properly.
The following outbound sites/ports must be opened to allow a DNNCam or DNNNode to properly communicate with the Boulder AI Platform, enable OTA updates, and provide the BAI team with remote access for troubleshooting:

In addition, either
8.8.8.8 must be routable
or a customer DNS needs to be configured using the Web UI. See the
Web UI Configuration Guide to configure the DNS.
It is also required to have access to a routable NTP server, which can also be configured using the
Web UI v2. Our default is
0.us.pool.ntp.org. NTP uses
Port 123.
